Owner Stacie Donovan is a veteran in the hair industry. 

She has worked in many well known salons in the surrounding Buffalo area and was a platform artist/ educator for an international color brand for many years. 

Originally from the Black Rock area, she opened Salon in the City in 2013. 

Stacie saw the trend in the beauty and wellness business being more entrepreneurial. Moreover, she knew that Chandler St. and Black Rock was the perfect place to expand into Salon in the City Suites. 

Stacie still works behind the chair knowing first hand the challenges and benefits of being an entrepreneur.
